Huacaya Alpacas

Naughty Girl is a young white female with genetics that speak for themselves. Her dam, Snow Diamond Geneva, was one of our long-standing foundation females before being sold, and her sire line blends the strength of Accoyo America Arctic Warrior with the legendary longevity of fineness from her grandsire, Red Granite’s Bad Boy. Even at a young age, Naughty Girl shows the kind of fiber character and phenotype that make her a promising future foundation dam. Her juvenile show record does not reflect her true quality. Illness kept us from attending the Wild West show, and she missed her early yearling season entirely. We fully expect her fall placements to match the caliber of her fleece and phenotype—both of which exceed the Huacaya breed standard. Her fleece handle is delightful, her first-year AFD graded at a solid Grade 0, and her brightness, uniformity from primaries to secondaries are excellent. While her density still needs improvement, her 2026 fleece weight of 4.2 lbs (before age two) shows she is developing well. Where Naughty Girl truly shines is in her EPD profile. She meets our ranch standard of being under the 15th percentile in all fleece traits—and in fact, she nearly exceeds it. Most all of her EPD percentiles fall below the 10th percentile, and she ranks under the 5th percentile in five of seven traits, with staple length being the only exception. One trait we are actively improving in our herd is medullation, and Naughty Girl’s ranking below the 5th percentile makes her especially valuable for advancing that goal. With a breeding this fall to Majestics A Man Among Men we will achieve much of that improvement with a excellent EPD for fleece weight. Her fleece bundling, phenotype, and elite EPDs make her a strong candidate for both our breeding programs and discerning buyers seeking white seed stock with proven genetics. We expect her to mature into another gifted white female in our lineup—and she will be an asset to any farm focused on quality. Glory is a stunning repeat pairing of Majestic Man and River’s Beautiful—a cross we simply had to repeat after their last female cria turned out so exceptional. From the moment she hit the ground, Glory stood out. Her presence, her structure, and her fleece quality have all been outstanding, and the show ring has confirmed it: she has placed at the top of every class she has entered. Her full sister earned Reserve Champion in Walking Fleece (White) in 2023, and Glory is following right in her footsteps. Her 2026 fleece is dense, bright, and fine, grading at Grade 0, and her EPDs place her in the top 5–10% across six fiber traits. Her AFD ranks under 15%, and while her staple length is the one area needing improvement, her fleece weight more than compensates. Despite having a smaller blanket than some of her older herd mates, her density gives her fleece a weight that rivals theirs. In fact, she sheared 9.0 pounds as a yearling—a new record for our ranch. Glory's histogram parallels the description of her yearling fleece. She is grade 0, has uniformity by way of her SD, good staple length and all other values reflect a beautiful soft bright fleece. To complement her strengths and enhance staple length, we plan to breed her to Snowmass Andres, whose genetic profile is an ideal match. Pride & Joy is the beautiful result of pairing Red Granite’s Pruet with Overture’s Graceland, one of the most treasured foundation dams in our herd. This cross was intentional, thoughtful, and full of promise—and Joy is already proving that it was the right decision. With genetics this strong on both sides, she is exactly the kind of young female who will mature into true breeding stock, meeting every expectation of the Huacaya breed standard. Joy carries the elegance, balance, and fleece quality we expect from this pairing. She is developing into a well-framed, well-conformed young alpaca with tremendous potential. She will be eligible to show this fall, and we are eager to see how she performs in both walking fleece and halter. Given her lineage, we expect her to be competitive from the start. Her EPDs are impeccable—five traits ranking below 5%, two more below 10%, and a staple length trait at 54%, which is quite respectable for one of the hardest traits to improve. Diamond is an outstanding cria—exactly the kind of result we aim for at Colusa Riverside Alpacas. She is one of 5 offspring out of our dependable foundation dam, Breeze, and she reflects the strength of that pairing beautifully. Breeze continues to hold an impressive 20-micron fleece in 2026, maintaining Grade 1 fineness at over 10 years of age. Diamond is already showing every indication that she will carry this same longevity of fineness forward. Diamond’s EPDs align perfectly with her actual fleece traits. She ranks in the top 5% for fineness, top 5% for SD, top 5% for fibers >30, and an exceptional top 1% for medullation. FOR SALE: 50% Ownership in Majestic’s Man Among Men Majestic’s Man Among Men—an exceptional son of Jumanji—truly has it all. This prepotent male has now produced over 35 offspring, and both he and his crias have earned an impressive list of wins in fleece and halter. His juvenile show record is unmatched, beginning with the 2016 Futurity and culminating in being in the running for Supreme Champion at the 2017 AOA Nationals. One of Man’s most defining traits is his remarkable fleece density. At age 11 he sheared over 8 pounds, and in 2022 he produced an extraordinary 14.5 pounds. His fleece weight EPD ranks in the top 5%, and after having many of his offspring in our herd, we can confidently say he stamps density on every cria. His architecture is equally impressive—one of his daughters, Rockstar’s Material Girl, swept the top fleece awards at the 2021 Gold Country Gathering. Majestic’s Man carries the classic Jumanji phenotype and fiber style, with the only difference being his lighter fleece color. Don’t let that deter you—his pedigree carries significant color, and he has been genetically color tested (results available upon request). Throughout his show career, in fiber shows his fleece consistently showed as white, while his halter classification was beige. His breeder, Faye Farley of Majestic Meadows, describes him as having “breathtaking fleece and breathtaking phenotype—an excellent combination for sure.” One look at his fiber confirms he was destined for greatness. AOA agreed, awarding him first place in white male juvenile fleece at the 2016 AOA National Fleece Show. At just six months old, he entered a large halter class and won first place and color champion. Majestic’s Man exhibits a true breed-standard phenotype, and he reliably passes that on. Owning 50% of this male is an opportunity not to miss. At this price, you could easily recover your investment with 2–3 outside breeding, while also using him on your own foundation females. He is a valuable herd sire whose genetics continue to prove their worth. Red Granite’s Pruet by Bad Boy is proving to be everything we hoped for in a next-generation sire. His father, Bad Boy, is well known for remarkable longevity of fineness—an eight-year AFD record that speaks for itself—and Pruet is following directly in those footsteps. His first three histograms all show an AFD under 19 microns, a rare consistency that strongly indicates he will carry this fineness well into maturity. His most recent Histogram for 2025 has him Grade 2 at 22 microns but at age eight. Beyond fineness, Pruet brings meaningful improvements in density, crimp, handle, and overall fleece quality. His EPD profile is exceptional, with significant positive impact in 7 of 8 fiber traits. These aren’t marginal gains—they are the kind of measurable improvements breeders look for when aiming to elevate a white breeding program. Even more impressive, Pruet surpasses his sire in staple length and fleece weight rankings, giving breeders the best of Bad Boy’s fineness genetics plus added strength in two critical fleece traits. He is, in every sense, the real deal. Red Granite describes him this way: “Standing on a strong and great frame and carrying a gorgeous bright crimp with the BLING factor, he is a very exciting male to look at. Most importantly, his fleece remains very fine and retains extraordinary brightness, handle, and uniformity across his blanket. Snowmass Andres is a powerful new addition to Colusa Riverside’s breeding program, bringing an exciting infusion of elite genetics and proven show-ring excellence. Andres begins his breeding career in Montana at Heart & Soul Alpacas. He will join us after summer, where he will continue showing and breeding on the West Coast. His 2024–2025 show record is outstanding: 5 banners, 9 firsts, 9 seconds, and numerous additional placements—a consistent demonstration of his quality across multiple judges and venues. We are thrilled to bring these genetics to our girls and to breeders throughout the West Coast. Andres is a striking male with a strong frame, exceptional presence, and a pedigree packed with potency. He is the grandson of Accoyo America’s Polar Storm and the son of Accoyo America’s Storm King, carrying the strength of these lines with confidence. Andres will be an important sire for improving staple length in our foundation female's offspring. His EPD profile complements our dams beautifully, and his staple-length EPD sits below the 20th percentile, aligning perfectly with our goals. Bianca is on of our last living daughter of Hemingway's Bogart. Bianca has some very valuable genetics and EPDs given her father's lineage. Due to her age and the loss of her last cria, Bianca has been retired.

River's Pink Cash is one of two female offspring we obtained from Snowmass Cold Cash. The Dam Capulet was a foundation alpaca we have had for many years. Pink Cash's adult EPD's have been much improved over her mother's, which is what we hoped for with the pairing of Snowmass Cold Cash and our dam RR Capulet. River's Pink Cash (Pinkie) lineage on her father's side is Snowmass Subzero and, on her grandmother's, side is Matrix. Pinkie's mother was out of the well-known El Nino Accoyo Manchu and Snowmass Royal Stars. Adult fleece is grade 2 white with good brightness and good uniformity of length, with some uniformity of micron needed. Pinkie's EPD's indicate her fiber fineness grade will unlikely be passed on to her offspring given a breeding to the right stud. Pinkie meets all the breed standards for phenotype. The one amazing trait that Pinkie has is her disposition. Pinkie serves as our ranch ambassador given this kind and gentle disposition. She will be bred to our new stud Red Granite's Pruet by Bad Boy. She was too young to breed this winter and early spring, so we missed breeding her and will breed her in fall. Name Your Poison (“Whitchy”) is the first cria out of Passion’s Poison, and she is already showing the kind of fleece quality that makes a future foundation female. Her second 2026 histogram is excellent: a Grade 1 AFD with an SD of 4.0, and the standout trait—her remarkable staple length of 123 mm. Both her dam and sire carry strong staple-length genetics, and Whitchy clearly expresses that strength in her yearling fleece. We expect Whitchy to mature into another gifted white foundation female for our program—unless she sells first as seed stock, which her EPD profile fully supports. Her phenotype is at breed standard, with only a slight limb angulation that is completely acceptable in a yearling. The long staple is the first thing you notice, but what’s inside that staple is even better: bright white fiber with a lovely handle, minimal primary-to-secondary variation, and only 1.0% medullation. Because we are actively working to reduce medullation in our herd, Whitchy aligns well with our long-term breeding goals. Her fleece weight EPD is ay the 30th percentile—respectable, though not yet at our ranch standard. However, her actual 2026 fleece weight of 10.0 pounds before age two suggests that her EPD for fleece weight will improve as she matures. A breeding to Majestic Man will easily bring her into our ranch’s elite fleece-weight range. We fully intend to show her again this fall, as her yearling fleece and phenotype deserve to be seen in the ring. At 10 years old, after seven-plus pregnancies, her 2026 histogram still shows elite fineness—the kind of longevity breeders spend years trying to achieve. Breeze doesn’t just hold her quality… she defies the odds. She ranks in the top 1% for medullation and the top 5% for every fineness trait, making her one of the most genetically valuable females you’ll find anywhere. It’s no wonder we’ve paired her with Majestic’s Man repeatedly—the results are consistently outstanding, and we expect her next cria to be nothing short of exceptional. Breeze is the daughter of Snow Diamond Ichauway, one of the most EPD-gifted herdsires in the country. She has a large, well-balanced frame with impressive bone—so much so that Wade Geese mistook her for a two-year-old in the Get of Sire competition at Gold Country Gathering when she was only 13 months old. Her staple length EPD, at 37%, is still better than most alpacas in the national herd. This year’s cria crop was almost entirely female, and among the most exciting arrivals were the two daughters we were fortunate to get from Snowmass Cold Cash. His unexpected passing shortly after we purchased him makes these females even more precious. River’s Cashew is one of the gems who will now carry his genetics forward in our breeding program. Cashew’s dam, Bogart’s Temptress (Tempi), is one of the last offspring of our first herdsire, Hemingway’s Bogart. Through Tempi, Cashew becomes a beautiful bridge between our foundational Bogart line and the elite Snowmass genetics of Cold Cash. Her pedigree is a powerful blend: Snowmass Subzero, Matrix, and Quechua on her sire’s side, paired with the strength of Accoyo and Snowmass lines on her dam’s side. Cashew’s fleece is everything we hoped for—full Grade 1, with minimal medullation, soft handle, strong uniformity, and an admirable staple length. Her EPDs reflect her quality: less than 5% in seven of eight traits, with a particularly strong staple length EPD. Her fleece weight tells the rest of the story: 11.4 lbs in 2025 13.8 lbs in 2026 That is true density, and we fully expect her fleece weight EPD to improve even further when the 2026 results are released. Take a look at her 2026 histogram, which is identical to her 2025 histogram. Cashew is now bred to Red Granite’s Pruet, a pairing chosen specifically to enhance staple length while preserving her elite density and fineness. With her genetics, fleece quality, phenotype, and calm disposition, Cashew is poised to become top-tier seed stock for any breeder—new or established. We are eagerly awaiting her first cria.

Man’s Beautiful Storm is the exceptional daughter of our powerhouse foundation dam Beautiful—the densest female in our entire breeding program, and one who also brings fineness, longevity of fineness, and remarkable uniformity. Storm is unmistakably her mother’s daughter. She carries the same density, the same brightness, and the same elite fleece architecture, strengthened even further by her sire’s extreme density and fineness. Storm earned her first banner early, taking Reserve Champion in Walking Fleece (White). Her pedigree is stacked with industry icons—Jeremiah, Best Man, and Hemingway—and it shows in every inch of her fleece. Her EPD profile is exceptional, and her 2026 histogram (uploaded here) confirms she has maintained consistent Grade 1 fleece through age three. Judge comments from a September 2024 fleece show praised her and scored her at 76.5: “Beautiful crimp and brightness” “Excellent uniformity” At the PNAA IFA fleece show, her micron variation across the entire blanket was only 1 micron, with an average micron of 19.5 and a staple length of 4.25 inches—a rare combination of fineness, uniformity, and length. Storm’s density is no accident. Both her dam and sire are density giants, and Storm proves it with her production: 12.9 lbs sheared at age 2 10 lbs sheared at age 3 These numbers speak for themselves. Her EPDs place her in the top 1% for fleece weight, aligning perfectly with our five-year breeding focus on increasing density across our herd. This year’s entire crop is now shearing in the double digits—Storm is part of the reason why. Her remaining EPDs are equally elite: 1%–5% in six fleece traits Below 10% in medullation Only one area needing improvement: staple length, which is why we bred her to Pruet, a male who will enhance SL without compromising any of her elite values. Storm is pure seed-stock material—a young dam with elite fleece, elite genetics, elite EPDs, and elite production. She is the kind of female that elevates a breeding program for years to come. CC Rider is a beautiful young dam out of our own Chateau Cerise and home-grown Man’s Obsession. If she doesn’t sell, she will remain here as a future foundation female—and she would serve equally well as seed-stock quality for any farm building or expanding a high-end herd. She earned Reserve Champion at the 2024 PNAA IFA fleece show, and her fleece is solidly Grade 1. Judge Amanda VandenBosch praised her for her long staple, development within the staple, soft handle, uniformity, good weight, and remarkable production for only 13.8 months of age. Rider continues to pack on fiber as she matures; at three years old her fleece weight is 9 pounds, and we expect her upcoming EPDs to reflect that impressive production. Rider is out of our dam Obsession, who never fails to produce exceptional crias—all females, and all high quality regardless of sire. This is a line of foundation females we are proud to continue. Rider’s EPDs are outstanding, improving every fiber trait in her offspring. She ranks in the top 10% for all traits except staple length, yet her actual fleece clearly shows she carries plenty of length. The other positive aspect of this line of dams is that they have great bone, conformation and overall large phenotypes. Her mother has had no difficulty with giving birth to healthy offspring or nurturing a cria. As a yearling, CC Rider posted an AFD of 17.3, SD of 3.5, and a mean staple length of 100 mm. Her EPDs remain exceptional through 2025, and her 2026 histogram is available via the link above. She maintains her staple length now into adulthood. Her MSL percentile is 59%—not a low number, but still complementary to her overall fleece profile, especially considering how difficult it is to maintain staple length while keeping micron at or below Grade 1. Jewel carries an unusually elite concentration of Snowmass genetics. Her pedigree includes Matrix, Quechua, Road Warrior, Polaris, and Nautilus on the dam’s side , and Quechua, Accoyo Elite, and Matrix again on the sire’s side . This double-stacking of Matrix and Quechua is rare and highly sought after for uniformity and fineness. 2. Her fleece quality is already performing at a high level In the 2024 PNAA IFA fleece show, Jewel’s fleece scored: Grade 1 fineness 18.7 micron average 5.0-inch staple length 0.25-inch length variation These are exceptional numbers for a young alpaca and indicate strong potential for elite adult fleece. 3. Judges specifically praised her staple length and density. Amanda VandenBosch noted Jewel had “good staple length” and “moderate density to staple". This combination—long staple with density—is one of the hardest traits to achieve simultaneously. 4. Jewel is already showing longevity of fineness. Her AFD remains 21 microns in 2026, and she is demonstrating the same long-term fineness you see in our best foundation dams. One characteristic we typically see in our dams is longevity of fineness; Jewel is showing that characteristic, longevity of fineness is one of the most valuable fleece traits in Huacaya breeding. 5. Her EPD profile is strong across all traits which fits with our ranch standard of “all traits below the 15th percentile,” but Jewel exceeds that—she is below the 10th percentile in every trait but staple length which is under 25th percentile. Even more impressive: her fleece weight is under the 1st percentile, meaning she ranks among the densest alpacas in the national database. 6. Her density is likely driven by her exceptional staple length. This is a fascinating genetic insight—long staple length often correlates with lower density, but Jewel breaks that pattern. 7. She is bred to Red Granite's Pruet specifically to keep enhancing her fleece strengths. Red Granite’s Pruet is expected to improve her offspring’s fleece while maintaining her excellent staple length. This is a strategically aligned pairing based on her EPD profile. 8. Jewel is part of a larger Snow Diamond seed-stock strategy. We are now “reaping offspring” from the group of Snow Diamond females purchased in recent years. Man’s Purdy Girl is an exceptional daughter of Majestic’s Man, and she shows it. Gossip by Majestic’s A Man Among Men is a lovely white yearling female already confirmed bred. At Colusa Riverside, we intentionally maintain a small herd of fewer than 20 breeding females. After two exceptional years of producing mostly female cria in 2023 and 2024, we simply need to reduce numbers—so Gossip becomes an opportunity for another farm to benefit from our surplus of quality females. Her dam, Rumor, was one of our long-time foundation producers before retiring to another farm, and Gossip carries that same dependable, well-built, feminine look. Gossip doesn’t fit our ranch standard of maintaining all EPD values under the 15th percentile, which is one of reasons she is available. Her EPDs are perfectly respectable; they just don’t meet our unusually strict threshold. She was accidentally bred, and we never terminate a healthy gestation—so she will remain with us until purchased, and her new owner may decide how to proceed with her cria. In truth, we are essentially selling her for the price of the breeding, making her an excellent value for anyone wanting to add a sweet, well-grown young female to their herd.
